Pupil Premium Grant

The pupil premium grant is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.  Pupil premium funding is available to both mainstream and non-mainstream schools, like special schools and pupil referral units.

All schools are accountable for how they use this funding and must report and publish annually the amount received, how the money will be spent and at year end the impact the funding has made on the achievements of the pupils.
